that's why it's strange, though. it's really thoughtful. i don't understand why he would even know i'd like this. there's almost no chance he'd ask someone else for help figuring out what i'd want, either.

no. he's just very observant. it's not strange that he would know what i'd like. what's confusing is why he'd bother. i got him something, but i didn't sign it, and even if i had it wasn't personal like this.
