And, even if I knew how to identify a vampire bat, it wouldn't do me much good. I don't have a reflection anymore, so...I actually have no idea what I look like.

He supposes the thing to do might be to get a book on bats...but all the libraries must be closed by now, and even if they weren't, his species might not be native to Ryslig...
